The workshop will provide a combined training certification in both Basic Literacy and English for Speakers of Other Languages. All training materials, including textbooks, will be supplied by Literacy Volunteers. You are required to attend all classes, prepare all homework assignments and complete a take-home final exam. Upon completion of training, you are asked to commit to tutor for 2 hours each week for at least a year. You can tutor during the day or evening at any public library in Middlesex County that is convenient for you and your student.
